AN off day
I just worked VIctor and i swear his mind was on anything but what it should be. He made novice mistakes and is acting like a teenager. I tell myself it's just an off day..those that train daily...your dog (s) have an off day? It is so unusual for him that it's hard not to worry.YOu question is it you...are you doing something different that is causing such rebuke? AM i pushing him too hard? I don't think so but it still makes you examine everything.

Raja has more off days than on days. lol
Tempie has an off day now and then. I don't worry about it at all. She wouldn't be one of my dogs if she didn't go crazy now and then.

Victor is miles past the teenager stage. HE is 5 and a half. By now we ought to be syncranized, it should flow and today all i got was tug of war. IT was hard not to be angry with him. We dropped on to the sofa and i said "what was that all about" and he turned his head away. SO said fine,,,i will talk to the tail..victor's tail what in the world was that all about?" you know they can't resist it when you do that. He flips around lays his head on my chest..big sigh..wag wag wag. IT just isn't like him at all. Hopefully a good valley run tonight will put us both in a better frame of mind. Maybe too i am struggling to do anything at all and maybe he has his own way of telling me that. Will see what tomorrow brings.
WE were doing street work and crazy isn't a go there. But it was like heel..i will walk over here thank you...come to heel..yeah..why. IT was certainly NOT teamwork. THat was his attitude. I always like to leave things on a good note but there just wasn't a good note to leave it on. Felt like pulling my hair as we turned around and went back home.

Today he did. WE will go get dog food and try alittle there and see if he can put it forth.
