I still can't quite believe this. I mean, not even the Cowboys would touch him and they're known for having the riff-raff of the NFL!
  My guess is the Eagles are going to be inundated with letters and boycotts and such. Maybe it will make a difference, maybe it won't. There are enough people out there who just don't care what Vick did, they just want to watch their football.

I'm watching the live feed Home Page - Philadelphia Eagles
It seems it's basically "if he doesn't perform he's out on his ass" and even Jeff Lurie admitted to feeling hatred for the man. Whatever, I hate football to begin with, I just hope someone makes a new Vick chew toy with jersey #7 from the Eagles - Lily needs a new one from her Falcons one.

Now the chew toy idea is a great one. I bet you could make money with that design! As for the Eagles, I hope they are dead last, all season.

I hope every dog lover everywhere makes it extra hard for him to acomplish anything. No way i would ever go to an EAgles game now even if i liked football which i don't. Its a given boycott for me.

The best thing that could happen is that people do not buy tickets to any eagles home games. That is the only effective way to get the protest point across. If they do not sell out they have to blackout the game from television.
Also as much as I hate PETA I hope they protest at each and every game away or home or some other animal rights organizations protest. If the protest's are effective Vick's contract will not be renewed and no other franchise would take him for fear of being protested and lost ticket sales.

LD, the Human Society of the U.S. and Wayne Pacelle are working WITH Vick and are being advocates for him, and since HSUS and PETA are generally hand-in-glove and have many ties together, don't count on anything there.

i'm suprised the Eagles signed him. I figured Dallas or the Raiders. The eagles always seemed like an upstanding organization. I actually admired them even though they aren't "my" team. Not so much this year. My BIL is pissed off, they're his team.
