Forgive me Renee but i've noticed many times your aversion to law enforcement. Is there an underlying reason for this?

I trust and respect the uniform, but I also use common sence...just like when I decide to trust and respect a person without a uniform.

I am not even going to go to that link. It sounds too disturbing. I am beginning to lose respect for the police too. This is a recent turn around for me. In the past 2 or 3 months, I have read in the newspaper of 3 instances where the cops shot 3 unarmed people, killing, I think two of them. (separate instances) and tazered someone so many times, his heart failed. These people were unarmed. One was very drunk. Now don't tell me an average person can't subdue someone who is falling down drunk. There were like 3 police officers at the scene. This drunk guy attempted to drive his car but was blocked by other cars and couldn't go anywhere. He had no gun and was not acting violent or resisting. There were witnesses. The cops shot and killed him...a 50 something year old man with a family.

I am quite sure that these 3 incidences I read about are only a fraction of what is going on recently. I am also seeing a huge increase in cop cars out on the highways. Huge. I believe that we are becomming a police state, like the gastapo in nazi Germany. Obabma is a dictator, not that he is directly connected with what we're talking about. (I don't know) But you will see more and more opressive control. Mark my words.

I agree and I am noticing it as well..

Crime goes up as jobs go down. But I think its more a sign of crime increase than police overzealousness.
