Hi everybody,
I know that there aren't many of us Samfans on this board, but I'd like to post some general information for anyone who is interested: 1) the SCA website is finally updated. You can now see information for the 2009 National incase anyone is interested and wants to go. I will be going, but only on Saturday, which is the last day. However, on Tuesday they have the agility trials and I think on Monday they are having weightpull. Saturday is best of breed. 2) The SCA Officers' forum is up for 2009. I don't think the "debates" have started, but you can find more information here: SCA Elections. Candidates do not have to participate, but most of them do. 3) Columbus All Breed is hosting an agility tournament in September which looks really fun. For anyone interested in agility, here might be a good opportunity to meet some people who already compete. For a complete list of Ohio shows including the Columbus All Breed Agility show in September, you can click here: InfoDog List of Pure Bred Dog Shows Held in OH I am new to agility and samoyeds in general, so I'll be watching to learn and meet people too. Take care, Sammgirl |

Totally nothing useful to add.. just wanted to say I tented beside a sammy boy pair all weekend at an AAC agility trial. I love Larry's fur kids. Lady with a sammy bitch pair we see off and on came for the sunday only. Both rocked the trial and took home some Qs.

don't worry about being constructive. It's Monday.
![]() Yeah, the Sams aren't like your normal agility dogs. But, samoyeds are great jumpers and are fast for their size. The thing is training a samoyed. That's where the real creativity starts. ![]() Plus, you can do weight pull if you want to, tracking, herding, Therapy...they're so versatile. I bet cockers are good at agility. they look really agile. Plus, they're smart and probably really easy to train. I somewhat envy you in that. ![]() Our little rescue also picks up on stuff pretty quickly when she's on her game. |
