Default Found a cat!

I found an all black, underweight, small cat sitting around the apartment building-I've been seeing her around quite a bit, and she seems to be loosing weight. She is small, and you can tell she is a kitten; maybe 6 months old. I sat down on the pavement and called, "Kitty, kitty, kitty," with some tuna fish and she trotted over. I brought her inside, gave her some tuna and some warm milk, and she loved sitting in the kitchen and eating; she wouldn't leave the food. I did the dishes and sat down to watch TV, and she padded around right behind me and rubbed all over my legs. I picked her up and rubbed her chin and she purred. There's no way she can live here...my dad won't pay the fee for keeping cats in the home, and I have 2 pet fancy rats here; but she's welcome to come and eat here and cuddle with me when my dad's not home. She seems to come to "Kitty, kitty" fine, but I'm calling her Annie, because she looks like an Annie. I plan on buying some cat food tommorow for her when she comes around, and maybe setting up a little bed outside the door, and I plan on getting her spayed, as well, if I see her around here more. She is a really sweet little cat, she could just be a wanderer, I don't know, but I'm already in love with her, and I miss my cat so much (who is living with my mom ) that when I saw this cat, I just brought her inside and made friends with her without even thinking about it. Hey, a good deed is a good deed. I got pictures, but my computer won't let me upload them, so, I'll try again later.

Thankfor feeding her! Is there any way you can adopt her out when you get her spayed?

Please dont give her milk. Its hard for them to digest and can cause alot of issues. Cow milk can be a dangerous thing for kitties.

Yeah, I'm sure there is a way; I'll work on it.
Okay, no more milk. I only gave her a tiny, tiny bit, but I won't give her anymore at all. Thanks.

I went outside and called for her, "Kitty, kitty, kitty," and she was laying under a bush next to my apartment building and ran right up to me.

K, no more milk sounds good! ..

Shes friendly, so she is obviously not feral. which leads me to beleive she has an owner, and is an indoor/outdoor cat. Or she was dumped. Its also a HUGE possibility this cat has an owner that is looking for it. Cats get lost all the time. I would put upp posters and contact all local vets, animal shelters and see if anybody has reported the cat missing...

Remember, somebody could be sitting home with a broken heart because they have lost there precious kitty. If she is loosing weight she may have a tapeworm.. Cats are good hunters and will find food. Unfortunatly they hunt wild animals which could very well carry tapeworms... A vet check is a must at this point... If you make posters, or post her on a lost/found website, include a head-shot as the picture, And ask potential owners a questin that only the true owner would know. Such as a unique marking (most cats will have one, Somewhere!)

Again, thanks for loving her and feeding her!
