The average Corso isn't as intense as the average Fila, or CAS, or what have you. But they can still be pretty intense dogs. And I've personally never met a Corso where the lead wasn't
practically an umbilical cord from the handler to the dog in terms of the owner's mood and behavior affecting the dog's perception of a situation. That's a very good trait to have in an otherwise stable dog...with an emotionally stable owner. Unfortunately, there are also quite a few unstable dogs out there being bred and so yeh, temperament can
be all over the board.
