Ruckus has a vet appointment in a couple of hours for blood work on his kidneys to make sure he is okay. and i am going to start cooking his meals. screw this!!
Melissa W - have you spoken with your vet about the Natural Balance Notice? Here it is if you haven't seen what the actual website says (http://www.naturalbalanceinc.com ) Anyway, make sure your vet knows about it. There is a good chance that could be what was making poor Kai sick all along
I just got off the phone with my vet. He said it's possible that Kai's problems could have been caused by the NB. So, we are postponing the endoscopy, switching his diet, and we're going to see if that helps.

Yep, you want to get pure canned pumpkin. Kai weighs 20lbs and I gave him a tablespoon... so I'll say maybe 1/4 of a tablespoon for your little girl. But if you give a little extra, I don't think it really hurts anything. I gave it to him for a few days. Just until he adjusted.
Thank you
I made a run to the pet store as soon as I posted that yesterday and came home with Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato. I always suspected that Jemma might be allergic to chicken, but I guess this bag will let me know for sure since although it's mainly duck, it contains some chicken part in the middle of the ingredients list.
I gotta spend more time to do more research first -- planning on giving her a raw diet again eventually.
