Most years I get it, some I don't quite ever get around to it. I work with the public (and many of their children) all day, every day so I'll take whatever help I can get.

Usually the years I don't get it, I regret it. A couple of years ago everyone at work got really, really sick from the flu except me and I was pretty glad for it.

Never gotten the flu shot and I've only had the flu twice in my life (31 now). Both times I had what I assume was the flu it wasn't even as bad as I hear it described. I felt absolutely miserable and drained for 1-2 weeks but no fluids flying out of me at either end or anything like that. Just feeling horrible.

So yeah, no plans to ever get the flu shot if I have a choice in the matter. I work in a biotech lab where it's highly suggested but not required.
