Flyball Master Steve!
My boy ran his heart out for me today. This weekend was the first time he's ever passed on a dog in a tournament. He's not done very much of it in practice, either, and I was pretty much clueless, which made things... interesting. He was very wound yesterday, stressed by the dog he was passing into because she came back growling and shaking her ball at him, and bobbled a bunch of times (mostly just small ones). But today he had his head together, ran totally clean both on his team and then as backup for another team, finished his 5000 point title, and made me ever so proud!
(Also pretty proud of myself that when we subbed him in as start dog to try to gain some speed against a better team, I threw down a 0.03 start and a 0.04 start. Heck yeah.)
