Rest in peace you little old lady.

Today I freed you from your worries about those kids and those puppies and now, you don't have to stress anymore about them. I let you go knowing we didn't always see eye to eye on what was acceptable and good dog behavior...but you did things your own way, and you had such a dignity about you, and I respect that.

We did many things wrong and we didn't think of the future when you came to us all those years ago...we failed and I alone, am shouldering that burden. I am sorry.

We parted friends, and everyone here in this house, will miss you.

Oh, Gina . . . . sometimes *those* dogs are the ones who leave the biggest hole in our lives. Remember all the silly, happy, funny and even the irritating times and celebrate the years you had together.
