Uses of Pumpkin

I know pumpkin is handy if your dog has diahrrea or is constipated. Does it also help if the dog has dry heaves? I'm under the impression that it doesn't help with that but someone I know is asking me to make sure.

Why is the dog having dry heaves?! Has he been to the vet?

Pumpkin can help to settle the tummy. You can also give pepto bismol. Is this a reguar thing? If so, I would look into a diet change...
