Pup I rescued was on last day (14 days) of Baytril for an upper respiratory infection. He still sneezes once in awhile and coughs a little. The vet said this is probably just the end of the cold but keep separated from other dogs in case it's viral instead of bacterial. I did this but, two of my other dogs have a dry cough today. One in fine.

I'm going to put my humidifers on since the heat is drying out the house a bit.

Have any of you experienced this and what did you have to do?

I could call the vet, that's how kennel cough spreads.

OK, Peanut is now on Clavamox since bacterial infection isn't gone. He's eating better this morning and still his cheerful self.

Kona is well and showing no signs, knock on wood.

Max & Jake sounds like seals. They are taking Robitussin DM. They don't have any other signs.

Peanut will be in kitchen for another 2 weeks away from everyone until he is 100%.

I don't have human children, but I sure do feel like it.
