His tail has grown back very nicely. The aquarium salt helped a lot! Even though he is all better I still use it to keep him healthy. I am changing the tank more frequently and I am no longer doing 100% water changes. Thanks for all your help Aussie Red and Tucker!:)

I'd show you pics but they never turn out clear enough.:eek:

Great Job!
If you want to speed up recovery and improve his colours, try feeding him on a high protein diet, like bloodworms, preferably live.
Just remember though, you cannot feed him this everday, and not very much at one time, because it pollutes water very fast!
Maybe two worms every three days? (live)
Or 3 worms every 3 days? (frozen)

you are very welcome Aus . For one time I am glad I could help and so very glad you were able to save him.
That is a very pretty Betta and I have 5 I love them. Would'nt it be beautiful if you could have a tank full of them ? Wish they did not fight but have you seen how many pretty females there are now? Thinking about turning one of my baby tanks ( 29) gallon into a Betta tank. 1 VERY PRETTY male and many colored females.

He has lovely areas of bllue that you can't even see....
