I'm elated! This morning when I had Pit out for a pee before going to work, he charged over to something on the ground and started chowing down like a madman. I ran over there after him, gave him a quiet "oh oh.." and he stopped chewing, let me reach nearly into his throat (as of course he was trying to swallow it whole before I got to him) and pull out what looked like the remains of someone's fillet 'o fish or something of the sort.
The last time this happened nearly a year ago, I walked away with a huge hole in my finger as he decided he'd much rather keep eating.
It just so happened I had cereal in my pockets at the time, so I lavished him with rewards for a good minute to make sure he remembered this experience as a good thing.
Kinda pointless thread, but I'm happy and felt like bragging about my good boy.
