So I need your help with names, again. Now I am looking at potential South African/African names that might suit. Since the Boerboel originates from South Africa.

It has to be easy to say or be able to shorten it to something easier to say.

And GO!

You're getting a female right?

Abalindi is Zulu and translates to guardian, sentinel or watchman.

I don't know any that are particularly South African, but I know a few that are either Swahili or used in Western Africa:

Zuri is my vote for a female!

Zola
Abeni (it means "we asked for her and we got her")
Adisa
Nya/Nia
Ayo/Dayo - male or female
Imani

Kato
Kayode - I think it means "joy" or "he brings joy", you could use Kay or Kody as a nn

Tamu is one of my favourites for a girl. It's Swahili and means sweet.

Try namesite.com. It's got thousands of African names, and you can search by country or language. :)
