So the gang got to try their paws at barn hunt on Thursday. Of all the dogs it's clear that Snipe and Kes are much keener on the hunt than many. I'll probably compete with all four, but it did make me think - is there much of a market for ratting services in this day and age? If so, anyone with direct experience? Thoughts?

I have a friend on FB who I can introduce you to, he does monthly farm and business clears with his terriers and lurcher. Additionally I have met one guy who does urban livestock ratting in San Fran with his Rat Terriers. He does this for free and uses it as work for his dogs.

Told ya its fun :p

This sounds super fun, and Squash does catch and eat mice in the backyard so I think he'd like it... but at the same time I'm imagining the carnage of straw and tubes flying everywhere if I did it with him.
