My dog is a ten year old lab/shar pei mix who likes stuffed animal toys. When i was little he would take my toys and my dad would yell at him and take it away. S i'm afraid that is the feul of his possesion problem. He is not food possesive at all with his own food but he is very possesive of his teddy bears. I am worried he will bite or kill one of my cats when they go to sniff the toy. He is also Is possesive of bones and food he steals from the trash and if you try to take it he will growl or snap and i am worried he will have something dangerous in his mouth and i won't be able to get it. Is there anything i can do about this problem.
