training puppy

I have a basset hound puppy that is 10 months old. She does good with going outside, always goes but she still continues to go in the house. She also wets her crate at night. I tried the diaper and letting her sleep in my daughters room but then she pooped all over so that didnt work. Any other suggestions. She sometimes even wets on the furniture.

The first thing you need to do is have her checked by the vet to see if there are any physiological problems.

Some dogs take longer than others to be able to hold it all night. Be sure to take her out and walk her right before bedtime. Also, remove her food by five or six o'clock each evening, and restrict her water after six o'clock or so. Don't completely deprive her of water, but just leave out a half cup or so.
