Steve has never in his adult life had a collar that was purchased specifically for him. Or a leash for that matter.

(But he's got a spiffy, and spendy, flyball harness.)

LOL, I think Harry has one or two just for him, but not like my other dogs had. I bought collars left and right for my APBT & Pug that I had before these two, and Grant when he was young. Harry mostly gets hand-me-downs.

I actually haven't bought either of my dogs a new collar in 3 years. How life changes when a child comes along! They also don't get much in the way of toys anymore over fear of them (well, Harry) becoming protective of them with a child in the house. My poor neglected dogs!
