Hi everyone, guess you can all understand that I will not be on much for awhile, have wee ones and Mom to spoil

the largest pup was 1.5 LB and smallest was 11 oz, all pups are gaining
and doing great !!!

Mom is eating better, more relaxed now
she sure loves those babes

I love how she counts them all soon as she comes back in from potty
making sure they are all still there.

Well better go talk to you all soon.

I noticed that the mom and dads back is sloped down. I see alot of breeders who have GSDs with level backs. which is correct? I have always liked the sloped look, or what ever you call it.

that is just the way they are stacked for show
normally they look quite level

some do breed for that sloped back, too much angulation is not my style

They look so comfy !!!!! Did Mommy handle all the feeding ?? I had a female with a litter of 12 that actually produced milk from the way upper teats... so she had ten.

yes Momma has 10 teats as well GOOD THING for these little piggies
Tia is eating 2 pounds of stew beef, 6 chicken thighs, beef heart and tongue, cottage cheese or yogurt and her whelping mother food

thats allot of food in one day, but then thats allot of babies she's feeding
I probobly have her spoiled so bad now that she will expect meat all the time

Shoot. I always say I'd rather start with an adult dog, but there is nothing like a German Shepherd puppy And those little tails promise to be spectacular one day!

I hope you've got lots of room for the coming " social hours " !! I loved setting up the pups " play room " ...boxes, steps, open kennels , milk bottles with stones and a rope, ... my favorite was a large carpet tube....how they loved that !! Whenever bedtime came and I did a count, if one was missing , I'd upend the tube and out would slide a sleeping pup!! How I miss those days !
