I just wonder? how honest dogfood companys are about their ingredients. There are alot of healthy sounding ingredients, most better than most peaple get.
Horse meat is probably the best source of lean protien, but why isn't it listed as an ingredient? when I know for a fact it is.It gets called beef?

It depends on the quality of the food and how reputable the company is.

Horse meat is in some poor quality foods and I would think it would be listed as "meat meal" or "meat by-products."

How do you know for a fact that it is?
99% fact lol,no proof,a good friend at a meat co.said alot of horses end up there :(,he said some of the meat and by-product was sent for dog food use.

showpug is probably right about it being labeled "meat meal or by-product.
I'm sure horse meat would be healthier for dogs anyways, probably not kosher to label it as such.
