I know that small animal rescues exist and I was fairly certain there were a couple in my area, but searches are doing me no good.

Can anyone help?

I'm looking gto adopt a fairly young male rat (or two) and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

But, where are all the small animal rescues? I really thought that there were more!

The Rattie Ratz rescue I have contacted.

The Reedley and Costa Mesa rescues are a bit too far, though.

I am going home next weekend, so if Rattie Ratz does not get back to me, I am able to contact the one in Reedley and possibly bring some critters home with me!
