NO DOGS & CATS UNDER THE MISTLETOE, PLEASE!
While it may be nice to run into your sweetie under this traditional
holiday decoration, mistletoe can be potentially toxic to our animal
companions, say our experts at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center.
Depending on the amount consumed, the plant can potentially produce
gastrointestinal irritation, excessive thirst and urination, seizures,
coma
and even death in pets.
