Does anyone have Sugar Gilders here?

I have been researching them for a few years and I have been considering adopting a bonded pair of them.

I was just curious is anyone had experience with them or currently had them as pets.

I know that they are a lot of work and have very specific diet requirements, but I know that I will be able to handle them if I decided to adopt them.

I currently have four sugar gliders. We got our first pair in the spring of 2006.

Please feel free to PM me with questions!

I'm on my way to bed right now, but here are some links to some of the other sugar glider threads here in the forum. :)

Okay... all the rest I can find right now are my photo threads. LOL! Well, maybe you can find some info in there, too. :p

Here's one that has some info... but mostly it's me being excited about my newest girl back before Christmas. LOL!

I hope that you can find some helpful info in the comments, at least... And again, at the worst, you can PM me and I am more than happy to help out with anything you may need! :D I have absolutely NO problems with blabbing on about sugar gliders. Haha! They are just the coolest little pets, especially if you've put in your research, which it sounds like you have. ;)

Good luck!

i temporarily homed 2, one was a rescue who i had for a month before my friend who was actually adopting her could take her home, the other i only had a 2 weeks, she was from a small BYB who was "getting out of the buisness" and when the shelter wouldnt take them she was going to kill them, all the adults found a home togetther and the 2 baby boys whent home together too so she gave me the little girl free to "get rid of it"...
my frined took her as a companion to her female.

she LOVES them.

form the short time i had them they were very cool little critters, probbaly not something i would keep as a pet, they didnt seem to "need" me as much as use me as a tree...but they were alot of fun.

definalty a good amount of work though. :)

i have a little boy :) i sneak him into work sometimes lol *shhh don't tell anyone*

as for their diet the one i use isn't really that hard. i mix up the stuff and freeze it and give him a spoon full twice a day with some veggies.

nin *short for ninja lol* is ADORABLE. and he's extremely sweet. he crabs a lot if you wake him up though and that noise is still... odd to me. he will even flip over on his back so you can rub his tummy :D here's a couple pics
