Is it possible for a dog to get carsick in just one particular car? Dante has always loved our car trips ever since he was a little tiny puppy, but since I bought a newer car a few months ago he's started showing symptoms of being carsick (yawning, excessive drooling, being restless). He never did any of this in my old car, he either just looked around or he slept, and I even tried moving his crate into my dad's car using his car for a week with no symptoms at all, but as soon as I started using my own car again the symptoms were back.
I'm not sure what is causing it (if anyone knows I'd love to hear what he could be reacting to) but it's not like I am in the financial position to just buy another car that he might like better and not using a car is not really an option either living out in the countryside with long distances between everything... Is there something I can give him so he'd feel better?
