First Disc dog competition

We just got back from our first disc dog competition and I'm happy to say Talon got some points! :rofl1: lol There were two round and he got 4 pts the first round (throw 1: 1pt, throw two: 1.5, throw three: 0, Throw four: 1.5) and then he pooed on the field. lol Second round he was sooo done. He was tired and overstimulated and it was hot, but he still managed to get 5 throws in and 3 pts.

All in all he did well I think, he did better than some of the advanced class. There were like 30 people (or some insanely huge number of people) split in the two classes and I think the person in novice to place in 1st got 23pts. They did really good!


Oh, though the day went well, Talon had a horrible morning during the clinic! He was way overstimulated! So that's something we are going to have to work on. Also, I forgot my camera's but managed to get a video of his second go on my phone, I'll upload it later

If you look at the first pic the photographer took and the video, you'll see in the video where he stops and just stares at her. He was so confused why this person was staring at him lol He also got a bit weirded out by the noise at the end when people were applauding. lol
