I agree with its worthiness. I just got my copy in the mail a few days ago, I think it was $6-8 at amazon.com plus I think $2-3 for shipping? total was around $10 maybe $12. I am still in the beginning of the book, not sure what page (its in the bedroom, Im too lazy right now to go find out exactly where I am in it). So so far it is just interesting sutff, some I knew and some I didnt but since I am not a breeder none is usefull at the moment. I dont plan on breeding dogs, ever, but if that changes (I could decide in a few years that I HAVE to breed) I will certainly find this book handy and read it a few hundred more times. I did flip through and there are quite a few chapters about after the pups go to new homes, when they are 6 months old etc about crate training, obedience training, house breaking, nutrition?, socializing etc. though I already know quite a bit about those topics I dont doubt I will learn something/things that are new to me, or atleast a method or 12 that are new to me that I can incorporate into Rorys' training, maybe even into Striders (1 1/2 year old gsd) training/socialization.
The way I feel about it is nobody EVER knows EVERYTHING about any given topic. There is always something to learn. So if someone tells me "____ is a good book about dog training/nutrition/phsycology/etc; or about lawn care/home improvement, marriage, wildlife, bird watching, rock climbing/etc" I will read it.
