Malinois Breeder Suggestions?

One of my team members is wanting to get a new Mal for SAR. Any suggestions as to breeders she should look into?

Stephanie just did a repeat of my TDs dog. It's a wonderful breeding and I would take a dog from it if I were in the right place for it. http://competitivek9s.net/ She also bred Stardogs malinois girl.

I wouldn't discredit looking on Pedigreedatabase.com and workingdogforum.com looking in the classifieds and researching the pedigrees and breeders for dogs currently or soon to be for sale. This is how I found both of my dogs, one is from a breeder and the other is from a gal who bred two sch 3 health tested dogs with nice pedigrees for a reasonable price and I doubt I would have found her else-wise.

My dog was from Dantero. He was out of Cali and Raptor, littermate to Havok. He was extremely high energy but had excellent usable drives. Very biddable and focused. He was not good with strangers, but most of her dogs aren't as sharp as he was. My dog was also a fluke in that he died young. Most of her dogs live into their teens barring freak accidents. I heartily recommend her for people looking for responsibly bred working dogs.

I second Stephanie - she knows her dogs incredibly well, is very conscientious, and is a good resource even if she doesn't have a dog that will fit someone's specific needs right away.

I thiiink she has placed a few of her pups in SAR homes before, in addition to the more traditional schutzhund, agility, police placements.

I have a friend that has a SAR malinois that she's enjoyed a lot. I'll see if I can ask her (haven't talked to her in a while)
