has anybody heard of this breeder in pennsylvania?

http://www.mateerlabs.com/

here's the main index... http://www.mateerlabs.com/enter3.htm

i was looking at www.cuddlespice.com and realized this same breeder breeds cockapoos.

however, if you look here http://www.cuddlespice.com/availablepuppies.htm look under holiday special, I smell something fishy

the main index for cuddlespice cockapoos http://www.cuddlespice.com/cuddlespicecockapoos.htm

Lame :( Although I guess that the fact that their labs are registered with the APRI (what is that anyway?) is a giveaway...

super lame :(

more pet labs coming into this world. you can rescue a pet. but perhaps being in the show dog business has made me a snob.

Yes it's the American Pet Registry. They will register any dog just on word of mouth. You could have someone say it's purebred and they'll register. It's a cheap and easy registry for BYB's. They have few rules and regulations. Lily was APRI registered and I went to their website looking for help and got no answers to my question and I asked one question and they actually shut down the whole forum because of the question that I asked:rolleyes: .

They at least used to be behind many mill auctions. Not sure if that's changed any in the last 8 months or year.. I try to stay far away from the skeazy registries. There was a thread on it a while back on a forum I frequent. Many pet owners had their eyes opened, while the shady breeders had a fit because they were such an 'excellent registry". Yuck.
