Shaggy Black Dogs Go To The Lake -- Puppy's Inaugural Lake Trip!

The little one has been home for a week so I thought it was high time we took her and Big Sister Mira to the lake. This is puppy's first time to a real lake, and first trip to any swimable body of water since she was 5 weeks old and went on an outing to the puppy pond with her sibs.

Settled down into a nice swim though sometimes her skinny puppy butt would sink and she'd go back to splashing lol
"Hey! How come you are standing already? I'm still swimming!?"

There was much chasing of Big Sister


And then...she stepped in a hole. And ker-splatted face first into the lake.


As if that was going to stop her...Helper Puppy WILL help bring back the bumper...no matter what!

So much wet puppy! I love them. And Didgie wants to know how the Nut figured out the not spashy puppy swim so fast.

And poor Mira, always has someone chasing her while she's being Serious Retriever.
