Well yeah Lhasa but the thing is, when you medicate a cat you put it in the side of the ear and it RUNS down so that it's not a shocker. Ear meds are much thicker than water. Water may not be shot directly in the cat's ear, but it WILL run down the sides and can get into the ear canal. Not only that but it doesn't do much to make the cat agreeable to putting things in its ear when the time comes, which it might. I really do not think it's a good idea, just some food for thought.

Sometimes they do, depending upon how much water gets in there (and how terrible your aim is!). When I started using squirt bottles, I found this out the hard way. Poor Emma.

Oh, well, I never had a problem with any of my cats with using it, but they never had ear problems, either; I must've lucked out. Like I said, tho, I rarely had to get to that point 'cus they usually responded to the body or side face shots (and I am an excellent shot lol). I don't use it anymore, anyway.
