Chicory is the root of the endive plant that is roasted and ground up and added to coffee grounds. They call it Creole coffee because during the civil war there was a coffee shortage and the Creole people around here used it to stretch there coffee supply.

They've been around for like ten years now Still pretty new in the scheme of American music groups, but that realization kind of shocked me.

A decade isn't that long to be on the music scene at all IMO - but then again the current mainstream music scene is...lol
