Trying to find a good American Eskimo breeder

Specifically, a toy eskie
I've been looking around for a good breeder, but I figured that maybe you guys would know of a good one. Preferably in California, but I'm willing to drive/fly to get him

Im in california but I don't know any body who even breeds eskimo.

Hi. If you go to the American Kennel Club website, you can choose a breed and then there's an area to click that says find a Breeder. You just choose which state you're looking for.

What you may be looking for is an Alaskan Klee Klai. There's a thread here somewhere . . .

Toward the end of the thread there's an owner of a Klee Klai who gave us some good info on his and some photos. I think you'll find it interesting!

Ideally, we want a male toy Eskie, but anything, including rescues is okay.
I've been looking for breeders, but the only breeders I've found so far that breed toy eskies around here don't look too promising. they either seemed to not know enough about the breed, or they seemed shady...

I have spoken to a lady that was heavily involved with this breed over here, and she has resigned from the breed as in her words" the breed is being promoted as having no genetic health problems, but now puppies are being born with soft pallets and detached retinas, and this is occuring regularly so how can we honestly say they do not have health problems" hmmm this BTW was last year.
