That's so bull....the "pitbull" on its own isn't a breed...it includes several different breeds...

The American Staff Terrier, the American Pitbull Terrier, and the Staffy Bull (which I personally don't think should even be included in this category)....

but what's with all these other breeds now being classified as pits? What a mess..might as well include Chihuahua's in there too... :p

Pit bulls are actually considered molloser type dog. Therefore even my dog can be labeled a pitbull by someone, because they belong to same type.

One of the reasons organizations like to extend the list of breeds under the "Pit Bull" banner is to pad the statistics on bites. The more dogs they classify as Pits, the more Pit bites or attacks they can "document" :rolleyes:

That's one reason all bite "statistics" are highly suspect . . .
