Sit is fairly easy.

Get a treat that your dog likes. Hold it infront of him and slowly move it above his nose. Usualy the dog will follow it with its eyes and sit down. When you do this say sit so the dog remembers the word. (If you have trouble just push its but down.)

Lay down.

Once you teach your dog sit make it do it. Then clutch the treat infront of the dog and pull the treat to the floor to the dogs feat. As you do this say lay down. The dog will follow the treat with its nose and do lay down.

"Spin"

Get a treat or toy lure.

Start by having the dog face you, and dangle the treat or toy by the dog's hips. When the dog turns to look at the object, move your hand around their body so that they follow the lure with their nose. Chances are that their body will follow their nose, and they'll turn in a circle. Give them the reward after turning even a slight bit at first, and then gradually increase the amount of turns the dog has to do to get his reward.

Then, once the dog is spinning without hesitation, add the command "Spin" (I use "Spin" for turning clockwise and "Twist" for turning counter-clockwise)

After you say "Spin", start luring the dog in a circle. Gradually move your hand higher above the dog's head, just to direct them in a circle, and still give the reward for each spin. (give the verbal command as well)

Eventually, you will have your hand up at your waist, and all it will take to send the dog into a spinning rage will be a twirl of the finger. Very amusing to houseguests.
