The harsh world of dog overpopulation means that in this case, it's going to be in the best interests of the mother dog and the pups to do a spay/abort. Too many counties will kill a dog based it being a "pitbull" or even if it looks "like a pitbull". These pups stand an extremely good chance of getting euthanized before their first birthday just on that reason alone. I'm of the opinion that it's better for these pups to die before they know what pain is, than to be abused or slowly driven mad by life in a shelter, waiting for the needle or gas chamber. I get 15+ emails a day about dogs and puppies just like these whose time is up and there are no more foster homes available.
Yes, look at all the good people on this board. But we are a small fragment of the population with limited resources. None of us on this board could take these puppies.
