We did this a couple of years back, and it was really fun/successful :D

Everyone who participates will go to a tourist spot near them and buy touristy items (t-shirts, postcards, mugs, pens, keychains, etc) which they will send to the person on the other end of the swap.

You'll be matched up with (hopefully) someone from the other side of the country/globe (if you're willing to ship internationally).

So yay or nay?

Here's the old thread for reference:

Last time the limit was $10-$20.

Really, the cost isn't important since you can pick up brochures, t-shirts for like 5 for $10 lol at most touristy places.

I had buttered noodles for dinner last night but I could make spaghetti today... It's not the same without Garlic bread!!

ETA: My touristy place is a university, they jack up prices :p But I'll still participate!

We should probably have a minimum post count for people to participate with, also.

Last time we decided that members must have 150 posts. Thoughts?

I'm excited to see what things others will swap with each other though!

Mandy you can still do it! Just send something that's mostly Canadian and not American.

As far as the post count? No idea... I doubt anyone with less than 150 would want to participate anyways.
