 Our lovable 3year old miniature daschaund has what we call "fishy bottom" He doesn`t have it all the time ,but... I heard their was a gland that can be squeezed or something to help aleviate this. Is this true?

Dogs have anal glands that sometimes get blocked. They try to express the glands by scooting their bottoms on the ground. If this is what you mean by "fishy bottom". It usually works, but if not, your vet or groomer can express the glands (and show you the proper way to do, if you are so inclined).
