I'm sitting in my living room with Josie. Dad's out back with the dogs. We're sitting in there when all of a sudden I hear this clatter sound and then it sounds like one of the dogs is dying. I can tell that it's Mia making all the noise. I mean squealing and shrieking and yelping and all that. So Josie and I both rush outside without a word.
There had been a big sweeper kind of broom propped up against the wall. Somehow it fell over right as Mia walked by and the handle slapped into the concrete. This in turn sent Mia shooting across the yard yelping and carrying on that something was trying to kill her.
Anyways, just my story of the day. Mia scared me pretty bad. (And apparently she scared herself even worse). After a few very cautious trips out the door past where the broom had been, she seems fine walking in that area.
