BSL against PB's, requiring all PBs to be muzzled in public and for owners to carry 100k insurance, was shot down overwhelmingly last night. Finally some people who understand that the dogs are not the problem, the owners are. One person even commented, that the people who don't care about the regulations are not going to follow them, and that only people who cared about the dogs were in attendence at the hearing. Even one grandmother, who's grandson was mauled by a PB was against it, saying the owners were the problem, not the dogs. Her daughter was in favor of the legislation.

Thank doG. The news is not so good in many other areas.

I get NUMEROUS messages each week about legislation being proposed in cities, towns and states all over the US to restrict or ban APBTs and other breeds.

The ARistas are out to get rid of this breed, and they are being quite successful at doing so.

My breed will follow right behind it.

If you are not following what is happening with BSL, and if you love dogs, you should be.

It is great to hear this, but it is still a major concern in so many other towns, cities and states.
