I was in Dallas for a few days last week, and we took a drive up to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.

Here are some photos I took there. It was such a pretty place!

So, how did "The Narrows" get their name :) and the lizard shot is great. and that bison looks like one animal I would not want to **** off

Thank you! It was a beautiful place. Our drive up from Dallas was entirely flat plains... and then the the hills started coming into view. I wasn't expecting it to be so pretty.

So, how did "The Narrows" get their name :) and the lizard shot is great. and that bison looks like one animal I would not want to **** off
I'm pretty sure it was because the path was surrounded by large rocky canyons. There were a few signs along the way saying "no rappelling" and once we came across the rocks and river, it was obvious why :rofl1:
