Our puppy is almost 8 months old, and weighs 43 pounds. She grew like a weed from ages 4 months (when we got her) to 6 months. But since then has only gained a few pounds. Will she continue to grow much, and at about what age will she stop? We're just wondering how big she'll get.

Thanks!

It depends on the breed - larger breeds of dogs take a longer time to grow, fill out, and mature. Can take up to 2yrs+. Smaller breeds can stop growing anywhere from 6-9mos... It really depends ;)

Do you know what breeds are in your cute pup?

I see ;)

Now, this is just a guesstimate, but I think she's probably just about done. She'll probably fill out and mature a little bit more still, but I doubt she'll have any more Big growth spurts...

um... I HTH a little. I'm sure more will chime in later, when they catch this thread :)

My Goldens usually had their height at 12-13 months and would then fill and muscle out a couple of months .
