Are puppy treats bad for older dogs? I have 2 boxes of "puppy treats", can my 3 year old lab have some or will if give her stomach problems and what have you?

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Most puppy formula stuff is calcium loaded, which may actually help older dogs who suffer from bone loss.

But with your lab being only 3, I would limit the puppy treats to probably 4 a day.

Also puppy formulas are made for easy digestion, so I wouldnt worry about upset stomach.

I hope older dogs can have treats, my 2 seniors get treats everyday before I leave for work and then again if mommy feels like being really nice. They are good boys always so if I gave them to them for being good they would be eating treats all day..LOL
