Well, I've lurked on this site for quite sometime, and I've finally decided to give it a go.
A little bit about me-
I'm owned by two Shiba Inus, a pet-quality boy "Tai," and a lovely little show girl, "Kimi." These two are the absolute loves of my life. I can tell you, the absolutely toughest thing about college is not being able to have my dogs at my side.
I'm an undergrad eventually hoping to apply to vet school.
I get my doggy fix by showing my girl in conformation (unfortunately, somewhat hard to do when I'm away at school), and dabbling in agility with my boy (if you know Shibas...you KNOW why I don't compete, LOL!). However, if all goes well with my next show prospect, I may actually consider serious agility competition as well.
I eventually plan to breed Shibas, although that's quite a ways in the future. I still have quite a bit to learn, and I'm doing so under several excellent mentors. I am fully committed to preserving health and type in this breed.
I'm excited to meet and learn from everyone here!
