old spanish pointer?
Yes! :D the name in spanish is "Pachón Navarro" or "perdiguero navarro"

And is belived to be the grandpa of all the pointing breeds, acording to the breed's club the one of the first drawing of the breed is from 1450!! and is belived that some perdigueros appeared in drawings of XIII in spain in a drawing of King Alfonso you can see the drawings here http://www.pachonnavarro.com/pdf/Estandar/patron_a.pdf

Just spanish pointer without the "old" is a diferent breed, the spanish name is "perdiguero de burgos"

This breed has a more senthound type of body http://www.perrosibericos.com/perdiguerodeburgos/fotos/foto01.jpg http://www.perdiguerosdebedmar.com/trofeos/papa con romeo.jpg

And what the dogs looked like back in the day

There's a hint in the name of two pictures, plus I figured it'd be a molosser and I was right. xD

Oh well, I'm a bad influence.

Saffie, no not a fila

Laurelin is right in that it is a Molosser breed so that helps narrow it down somewhat....except that it is evident that it is a molosser simply by looking at the physique of the dog LOL

Mrose, go ahead and guess, it is a difficult breed so I dont mind some researching done to figure it out ;) If you don't got it I will give a hint.
