Was hoping perhaps we could have gotten our CD today. We had two trials back to back and while Duke did fantastic in both we only qualified in our first round but we did get 2nd place and highest scoring mixed breed in trial with a 189 which is his best score ever.
His heeling is becoming very fluent and Im still amazed how far he's come with his reactivity, all trial long, dogs were flying in and out of the area, handlers walking by, wierd noises, sudden appearances of dog's right in his face- he handled it all like a champ and I couldn't be more proud of him.
We ended up DQ in our second round on my account as I gave too many extra cues- my mistake but I know better in the future- plus at least I know Duke can do it-I just need to learn

No pictures or videos this time around, all of the trials are done for this year so hopefully 2009 will bring our rally novice and Companion Dog title.
