I take great offence that.. All dogs have a purpose. Just because we have small dogs, that doesnt mean that they are "useless". They were bred to be companions. But, I must admit they are pretty! Lol

On the original subject, I'd adopt a "Shepogo" from a shelter or rescue. It could be a nice dog that I'd never pay a breeder for.

Sorry bully breeds have temperament issues that the GSD was bred NOT to have.
And combining them was not wise.
And BTU u over powered a GSD with a bite suit on.
Try taking one without padding ...

Bad guys dont break in with suits or sleeves on.

Dogos are not protection dogs they are hunting dogs. And many do not have protection instincts near a GSD trained or not.
The GSD drives have all the basic foundation to make a greatfamily protection dog and the top 3 of trained PP dogs. The dog will never compare to that level.

PS the creator of the dogo was murdered out hunting , he used them as ultimate hunting dogs for big game not for PP work.
