What the hell is this?!

This popped up on Buster's nose a couple of days ago. Overnight, one day it wasn't there and the next morning it was.

It is like discoloured skin, not like a sore although now it is getting a small scabby patch on it.
I'm about to book him into the vet but figured I'd ask here first incase its something obvious and not dangerous.

It looks like he's been scraping his nose along the ground or under a fence or something like that. I've seen that injury before, one Dobe got it from constantly trying to nose open the latch to her boarding room. We had to tie a towel over it at night.

Emma has one too. Its from rubbing on something

I just found it weird that it doesn't actuaslly seem irritated. Its just weird coloured skin. I guess I'll wait a few days and see if it changes.

It is a ferreting side effect. Lilly gets them all the time.
