Has anyone used this program for photo editing? I don't have a copy of photoshop anymore and photoshop is so expensive so I'm looking for something very comparable for photo editing.

GIMP is the best alternative to Photoshop that won't cost you an arm and a leg. I have Lightroom and I vastly prefer it to Photoshop for photo editing, but it's not cheap either ($150 USD).

GIMP is incredible as far as free open source software goes and it will give you many of the options you're already used to with Photoshop.

Sweet I will definitely look into GIMP then. I could probably get PhotoShop from my dad, but he is sometimes bad about remembering to bring me stuff when I ask him to. I know he has a PhotoShop that he doesn't use much anymore since he likes lightroom.
