Constipated?

This morning, Yoshi didn't go poo as he normally does. I went back inside and outside, back and forth at least 4-5 times. At noon, he finally went into doggie poo position, but nothing came out!

Does this happen from time to time? What should I do?

Did he eat anything out of the ordirinary yesterday?

I'd just monitor him for the DAY. Make sure he's still eating and drinking normally and I bet he'll go tonight. If he isn't eating/drinking or If it does go on until tomorrow a vet trip is in order just to make sure there is nothing causing a blockage.

nothing else different? Same feeding times?

Try givign him some canned pumpkin. The plain kind.

that's weird though.

some dogs just don't go at the same time. i mean, i thought i had my labs down pat....i could tell you exactly when they were gonna go...but if something, anything, changes in their little world (be it food, new people, new animals, moving, etc) their "regular schedule" is subject to change.

I think my dog doesn't really know what a routine is yet *sigh*
